• When I first saw Whataburger #5 on my desk, I thought I had a free coupon for lunch. While that wasn't the case, what I had received was a great song that was catchy and caught on in the hometown of Whataburger. It's one of those fun songs that comes along every so often. We've had fun playing !

I loved it the minuteIfirst heard it, it was so funny thatI told Dr. Bruce about it and he was instantly curious about my excitement, I told him....this is a south texas hit, played it for him, he wanted it on his show in the next few minutes, a kid in a candy store!!!!...downloaded it to our system and on the air it went, a huge request song for 3 months running.....still a favorite even after the holidays, are you going to have a follow-up?...your sound is good, we like your style, just keep it country.......lookin forward to hearing back from you.

As a radio programmer, this guy was batting a thousand, new name, new voice, but a regular order at our local restaurant, Whataburger #5 was a huge debut single and continues to be a staple on my lunch-time request hour, simple, funny, and full of texas fun, Anson Carter....GET A RECORD DEAL!!!!
